All BGHS graduates are invited to attend the annual banquet regardless of their graduation year. Please submit your 2026 Banquet Reservation by September 5th, 2026; memberships for only $10. These funds assist in continuing scholarships for future BGHS graduates for years to come.
BGHS Alumni Association’s Annual Banquet will be held on Saturday, September 12th, 2026 at 6:30 pm. This is the same day as the Champ Clark Heritage Festival and will be held in a new location this year; the High School Auditorium at 700 W. Adams Street in Bowling Green, MO. Cost is $35 per person (includes annual dues).
Entertainment this year is provided by Donna Biggs Grote (1979). Donna will be bringing a taste of the disco era with a few favorite tunes from the 70’s. Donna is a member of the Raintree Arts Council and the Changelings Theatre Group that performs at the Apple Shed in Clarksville, MO. You may have seen her in 9-5, The Addams Family, Steel Magnolias and 3 one woman shows.
Special Honors: All graduates prior to 1965 will be honored alongside members of the following BGHS graduating classes 1966, 1971, 1976,1986,1996, 2001, 2006, 2016.

To better support Bowling Green High School students, the Alumni Association is moving to a fully digital newsletter. Rising printing and postage costs have made it increasingly difficult to maximize funds for scholarships and student support, so this will be our final printed edition.

Brice Cox, a 2004 graduate of BGHS, is the Assistant Athletic Director of Sports Performance at the University of Tulsa and a nationally respected leader in collegiate strength and conditioning. Brice has built a distinguished career developing elite athletes and championship-level programs across Division I athletics. He is a Master Strength and Conditioning Coach and holds six additional certifications in the field of sports performance.
Brice attended Culver-Stockton College from 2004–2008, where he competed in both football and basketball while earning a degree in education. He then attended graduate school at Northwestern State University, serving as a Division I strength coach for men’s basketball, women’s basketball, women’s volleyball, and women’s tennis. After two years in Louisiana, Brice moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he continued graduate studies while working as a graduate assistant sports performance coach for the Arkansas Razorbacks men’s basketball program.
In 2012, Brice moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, to become Assistant Director of Speed, Strength, and Conditioning. During his tenure, he helped programs capture eight conference championships, including four football titles, while also contributing to two NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament appearances.
From 2016–2018, Brice served as Director of Basketball Sports Performance at Missouri State University. He then joined Kent State University, where from 2018–2022 he directed sports performance for both the men’s and women’s basketball programs. From 2022–2025, Brice served as Director of Men’s Basketball Sports Performance at University of Missouri–Kansas City, helping guide the program through a record-breaking season.
Currently at University of Tulsa, Brice recently completed his first season with the Golden Hurricane, helping lead the men’s basketball program to the NIT Finals and a 30-win campaign—one of the most successful seasons in the storied history of Tulsa basketball.
Throughout his career, Brice has had the privilege of coaching athletes representing six of the seven continents around the world. He has also helped develop more than 60 athletes who advanced to professional careers, including competitors in the NBA, NFL, MLB, and the Olympic Games.
